Great graphics, Great story, Great sounds, Cheap jumpscares, All of which got me. lol

love your game thank you so much was super fun to play :):):)

I didn't know what to expect with this game, but absolutely loved it! A little anti-climatic at the end if you're able to sneak right past the guy without triggering him. But really, really well done! Really loved this one! Played as part of a 3 Scary Games video, timestamps in description to jump directly to the game!

Nice game, really love the graphic style and the amount of detail in the house an garden.  Well put together and I look forward to seeing any future games from you.

My playthrough is below:

AMAZING GAME!

I don’t know how you did it, usually I hate jumpscares but these all got me without annoying me which I think comes down to great atmosphere because when you’re tense yet curious the scares hit you the most.

Also loved the look and soundtrack of this game, both very immersive. I think the lore could have been a bit more detailed but it’s a Game Jam game, I know the time constraints of those. All in all - great work you two!

Your description is spot on for this, that's exactly how I felt playing, too!

Such a great game:) love creepy houses

Me encantó este juego. La mansión esta super detallada. Seguro podrían hacer más juegos así o hacer este mucho más largo con diferentes objetivos. Espectacular!

The early ending had my rolling laughing and so will you. I only got 2 endings, not sure if it was broken because I couldn't pick up the book. I also could have done it in the wrong order. I am not the brightest lol. Excellent game art style though. Plenty of potential.

Hello TheBenPsych! We loved your video and got a good laugh as well from your commentary! :D Thanks so much for playing. You played the first version of our game which was very small for the game jam which we had to scale down on the content to polish for the deadline in our 3 day development. We actually have updated and added alot more scary things and scares since then and we would love if you gave it another shot and returned to the mansion for a game of, Truth or Dare. We promise you will jump out of your chair!

Also you will have to redownload for all the updates :) Have a great day!

we enjoyed this one, thanks for making it!

first game in the video.

the fact you only had 3 days to make it, it's a really good, promising horror game.

When I played I may not have played the most up to date version, but it was definitely missing more jumpscares, or any sort of audio to suggest I wasn't alone in the mansion. But again for the short time to make the game it was a positive experience!

Check out my video.

This game had so much potential and I really hope you expand it to a full experience, but it was way too short and the ending was so abrupt it didn't make for a good experience.

Hey Pimento, thanks for your feedback. The game was part of a 3-day dev game jam, so at the end of the day its stability had to take priority on the many features we wanted to add to it. We're currently working on updating the game to add more jumpscares, chase scenes, cinematics, lore, dialogue, puzzles and interactive items in  almost every room of our creepy mansion, so stay tuned.

That’s great to hear! That ‘streaker’ guy that runs by the door and screams was hilarious and made me jump twice! I love that guy!

As a concept, this is interesting enough; it's a bit bare-bones at the moment, but the visual style is undeniably appealing and it would be interesting to see how the devs might develop this into something more fleshed-out.

(+1)

I definitely did not expect the scares, but I really loved the atmosphere in this game and the graphic style! Would love to see what the watcher looks like though! Your game is at 6:01

(+1)

This game was really fun. I do wish you added a little more scare into it. I did enjoy the mirror jumpscare. :) love the style of the game! Overall, it's  a fun game, great job!

(+1)

hi, big thx for the game. greetings from rosti 🙏

(+1)

This game has potential. The scream was fake, and there could be more to do. This game, it's like a prologue. There should be more.

(+1)

The setup for the story is really refreshing to see, and the setting was well placed, would LOVE to see if it gets the full features y'all have planned. Played it with a couple other scary games :)

Love this game, Keep the good work up

Game was fun, it took me a little while to realise I could leave the house for tools. It was funny that you also had an ending where you just abandoned him.

really think you got a winner here, if you add them features i feel like there could of been alot more u could of used for how big the map is, atmosphere is amazing, and with time i think this could be a truly great game, check out my gameplay below!

Fun game and it's super impressive that it only took three days! I thought the story was interesting and I’ll be excited to check out the game again once you guys are able to add what had to be cut for the deadline.

(+1)

this games style is great even if its just assets i love the 80s horror movie feel. it felt kind of short and not much happened but that's reasonable considering the time limit but with some animations and a bit of a bigger deadline this could be a really good game the story is promising, the atmosphere is pretty creepy, and the subtle story bits left around the place were cool ( as examples the cowboy and native american pictures and also the ghost hunting equipment) they conveyed a story without saying anything witch was nice. overall a lot of potential it just needs a bit more support and time and this game could absolutely pop off. i would love to see it get to the point were the two people are missing in the mansion and the people who dared them to go show up or something maybe even a set change to the school they go to to show the other perspective of the people daring them (idk why that would happen but I'm just spitballing) but either way iv rambled enough if you want to see the blind playthrough i did of this here it is

if you checked it out i appreciate you and i hope you have a good day regardless

Cool and quick horror game that reminded me of For The King with the graphics and the mirror jumpscare got me there. Would like to see more of you and thank you for making this! 1st Game.

i love your game :):):)

you did a wonderful job at creating a good spooky vibe and the setup leading up to the mansion was a really nice touch!

(+1)(-1)

Thank you so much for your feedback! Hoping to add a lot more to this game and the horror vibe very soon :)

(+1)

good little game. has the potential for more, much more. congratulations on your game.

(+1)

Great us of the new Synty Studios horror asset pack. It was fun getting to run around in it. Without having to buy it myself.

(+1)

Yes their assets are the best! Love the challenge or making a low-poly game really scary.

(+1)

Great game. Kind of felt like a bit of a throwback to the old school PS one, type games. I feel like it could've been a bit longer, I would like to explore some of the outer areas. Really good though. Loved it.
